Big congratulations to everyone who competed in the counties cross country on Friday...An extra well done to Ryan who got 2nd and Tyler and Aidan who both came 7th. They are now invited to represent Mid-Canterbury at the Canterbury Schools Cross-Country to be held in Christchurch in July.

On Monday 13th May, Tinwald School had its cross country at the Tinwald Domain. We had lots of fun and everyone tried really hard. We also had some great results! Check out some of our photos below!
Today we did an activity as a whole school for our Term 2 topic. The whole school had to meet in the hall and each child was assigned a group. There were five groups; Group A were given a McDonalds Happy meal and only 1 child from every class got this. Group B got a flavoured milk, a biscuit, an apple and a sandwich and 2 people from our class got this. Group C got a piece of bread with a spread and 4 people got this. Group D got about a handful of rice and 7 people from our class ate this. The last group, Group E got nothing! 9 people were in this group. This is how we felt about the activity...
