Math, math, math is my favourite thing to do at school. For basic facts I am on stage 5 1min and for group maths I am in the second highest group. Now we are doing geometry using maps and directions, it is fun. My basic facts goal for this term is to get to stage 6 1minute! Snow, snow, snow on Friday 21th of May Mid Canterbury got snow!!!!!!!!! So Tinwald School got cancelled so all of as got to go home early and that meant we were only at School for 15 mins. Cold, cold, cold is what everyone is thinking when they jump into the pool because its swimming time for Tinwald School on Tuesday the 18th of June.
I noticed that it felt like we were doing level 4. This term I want to pass level 5. In term 2 room 8 has been doing AVAILLL for reading. It is very fun because you get to watch a movie than doing boring school work. So far my favourite movie has been Nims Island its a cool movie.
On Friday the 13th of May room's 7, 8 and 9 had the HTJ challenge and it was gutterboard. I think it was a good game to choose for HTJ because my class won all because of Bobby. Who won it because room 7 did a big jumbo so that's how he won it for room 8 but still well done for the rest of the class's. Go room 8.

Remove from oven and cool on baking rack. Make icing by adding a few drops of food colouring and 1 1/2 tsp water to the icing sugar and drop a small amount under each spot where you wish to place a lolly. |
